Land at a major intersection in the small town of Kensington, New Hampshire was up for sale, it seemed destined to become another fast food restaurant or gas station. The Lewis family bought the land with the goal of creating a more community friendly alternative. They built a farm store that would sell local produce, dairy, meat, groceries and grab and go meals. 5% of every sale and all proceeds would go to support the town’s park, Sawyer Park.
Since it opened in XXX, the Farm has grown to include 10 green houses, an animal barn with picks and goats, a chicken house, picnic area and community lounge. The farm hosts community events and educational classes as well as monthly farm to table dinners that consistently sell out.
The Farm at Eastman’s Corner is the exclusive caterer for Alnoba, helping to provide more opportunity for local famers and artisans.
